Gazelle Sports Is Awesome!! Great Customer Service!!

So, basically the point of this post is to say that I support Gazelle Sports and I think their AWESOME!!!  Their a specialty running store retailer in my area, with locations in Holland, Grand Rapids, and Kalamazoo, Michigan.  They also have a growing online business at gazellesports.com.  If you stop by one of their stores their staff is absolutely amazing, from greeting you at the door to fitting you for your first pair of running shoes.  They are also very involved in the running community from sponsoring events to holding events themselves.  I saw they had Anton Krupicka out last year (which I missed!!!).

Anyway, I stopped in Gazelle this past Saturday looking for some shoes.  They were super busy.  Their staff was stretched a little thin as they were having a shoe sale, which is totally understandable.  You can’t predict every surge of traffic in retail and I understand sometimes your business get’s caught off guard.  So, I looked around a bit, couldn’t find what I wanted, so I went home and ordered my shoes online.

I sent off a message to them shortly after basically asking them if they could credit my order with a store credit I had with them that I wasn’t sure how to redeem online and also, if they could waive the shipping charge seeing as I was in the store….This is the reply I got….

“Dear Joshua,

Thank you for your email. It should not be a problem to apply your store credit to your order. There is not actually a way to redeem it online as our point of sales system is not linked with our website but we can take care of that manually from our end of things. J

Thanks for mentioning that you were in the store—we’re sorry we were not able to help you out while you are there. Things do get quite busy when we have this shoe sale! We are happy to waive the shipping charges on your order.

The items in your order are all in separate stores so after the truck run tomorrow evening we should have all of your items in our warehouse and ship from here. At that time we will apply your store credit and adjust your order total that is paid from your credit card that you used for your order. You can expect to see and email notification from us on Wednesday. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else!
