My name is Josh Albert. I currently reside in Zeeland, Michigan. As of writing this I am 29 years old. I work in retail and blog/do seo/invest.
I spent the first 18 years of my life living in New Jersey. Growing up my sport of choice ended up being soccer. I wrestled, played baseball, and played the piano when I was younger, but those activities slowly were phased out and replaced by soccer. As, I got older I began playing soccer 4 seasons out of the year (Fall-for the high school team, Winter-Indoor league, Spring-Club team, Summer-Traveled to different soccer tournaments.)
I went to Hackettstown High School. Some of the highlights of my high school career were starting the noteworthy acts J Krew and Masterpiece Theater and playing a leading role in the Spanish production of Lazarillo De Tormes (of which some of the lines have stuck with me to this day, MAKE THEM GO AWAY!!!)
Upon graduation from high school I went to the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. After bouncing around from potentially majoring in business, statistics, and math, I finally went with Economics. I graduated from U of M in 2004 with a BA in Economics and an Emphases in Statistics.
In 2005 I began researching ways to make money online. The summer of 2005 marked my first $1000 inventory buy where I was going to try to flip some products on Ebay for a profit. I was succesful with this first purchase, so I began purchasing more and more products and selling more and more stuff.
After seeing a bit of success I formed the company Utopian Outlet, in which to operate may retail business under. Since this initial foray on Ebay I have expanded in the last 5 years to selling/investing in domains, doing internet marketing/seo, building websites, doing general blogging, and selling new and vintage clothing items. And the rest is history…..
